Privacy Policy

WisdomTwin ("we," "us") lets you turn stories, expertise, and life lessons — your own or someone else's, with their involvement — into a private AI "twin" you can talk to. This page explains what information we collect, how it's used, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and an authentication identifier, created when you sign in with email/password, Google, or Apple.
• Content you provide: audio, video, photos, documents, links, and text you upload or record to build a wisdom twin, and the chat messages you exchange with your twins.
• Basic technical data: standard server request information (e.g. IP address) needed to operate the service securely.
• How we collect it: everything above comes directly from you — the signup and sign-in forms, and the content you type, attach, or record while using the service. We do not collect data from other sources or in the background.

We do not use advertising or analytics tracking SDKs, and we do not sell your data.

How we use this information

• To create your account and let you sign in.
• To process the material you provide into a wisdom twin — extracting quotes, lessons, and source citations, and answering questions grounded in that material.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.

If you enable offline mode, your conversations with a twin run entirely on your device using a locally downloaded AI model and are not sent to our servers.

Third-party AI processing

WisdomTwin's responses are generated by a third-party AI service, OpenAI. To produce a reply, the chat messages you send — and any photos, videos, documents, or voice recordings you attach — are shared with OpenAI, solely to generate your response and to process the material into a wisdom twin. The first time you use the iOS app, it explains this and asks for your permission before any of your content is shared; you can review that disclosure anytime in Settings → "How your data is used." OpenAI processes this content under its API data usage commitments, which provide protection consistent with this policy, including not using API content to train its models.

Storage and third parties

Account and content data is stored using Google Firebase / Google Cloud infrastructure, and content you send is processed by OpenAI as described above. Each of these providers is required to protect your data to at least the standard described in this policy. We use these providers only to operate the service; we don't share your content with anyone else without your action (see Marketplace below).

Sharing and the Marketplace

Wisdom twins are private by default. A twin is only visible to other users if you choose to publish it to the Marketplace.

Your choices

• You can review and edit your twin's answers at any time.
• You can delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and the wisdom twins you own.

Children

WisdomTwin is not directed at children and is not intended for use by children under 13. Content you create about a family member, including a child, is your own account content and is handled per this policy.
